IBHS to Present at 2013 Catastrophe Modeling Conference
The Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) will present at the Reinsurance Association of America’s 10th anniversary Catastrophe Modeling conference that takes place on February 12-14, 2013 in Orlando, Florida.
The conference, titled “The Evolving Landscape of Catastrophe Management – Technology, Science, Regulation,” will feature experts in the specialties of weather, technology, data security, and flood risk, as well as annual model comparisons.
Tanya Brown, IBHS research engineer, will give a presentation focused on roof damage as a result of tornadoes and hail during breakout sessions at 2:45 p.m. on February 12.
